I use to live in Reed, Ky when this story hit it big. I was an 6th grader at Spottsville Elem School before they built the new one and the old one before it was burnt down. I lived near the Green River but on the other side from where the sighting was and I remember being scared to death. I didn't want to go out and feed our farm animals for the longest time. I remember the story petered out after a while but was wondering if the monster had been seen again. I moved away a while ago.

It's interdimensional. By that I mean there's a portal-a door if you will-to another planet. this appears like a heat vapor about 7 feet high whatever. it isn't a "big foot"-it is highly intelligent and won't hurt anyone so long as you do not attempt to hurt it. It has more in common with the Honey island swamp 'monster' than that thing in grand falls , kentucky.
