I saw where she had an issue with the number 3 engine recently and had to return to the airport to land .I want to see this one fly as long as it takes. used to live under the flight pattern where I grew up in chattanooga. delta dc-7's flew right over the house. it practically shook the windows.

I consider myself lucky to have flown in the DC-3, DC-4, DC-6, DC-7, DC-8 and DC-10. Douglas aircraft have always been my favorite planes. To me there is nothiing like the sound of a prop plane. The smells and all the oil and smoke. Thank you for keeping this vintage airliner alive.

It probably took a lot of dedication, commitment and -last but not least- money to get this beauty restored to an airworthy condition but the result is well worth the while.
A classic piston-engined piece of history is brought back to life, and it's nice to see this DC-7 take to the sky again.
Congratulations-well done! ;-)
