PASSION'S PROGRESS 8: Apart

This video uses an extract from the eighth of ten tracks that make up the symphonic suite Passion's Progress by Bernard J. Taylor, which has some of the most beautiful music you will ever hear. The work traces the progress of a passionate relationship, from a time of emptiness through the ups and downs of romantic passion to its final resolution.

In 'Apart', the love you have for each other has become mutual and secure, but circumstances may force a temporary parting of the ways. The days and nights yawn endlessly in a melancholy void until you are reunited with the one that completes your existence; the one without whom you are only half a person.
