Create a beautiful perennial shade garden in 3 easy steps.

You will need:
-soil
-fertilizer
-mulch
-shovel or trowel
-plants

Step 1: Selecting the Plants
For this project, we used 4 different Garden Club Select Perennials: hosta, hookera, anemone and tiarella.

Step 2: Placing the Plants
Set plants on the ground in the spots they will be planted, moving them around until you are happy with the arrangement.

Step 3: Planting the Plants
First, dig the hole twice the width of the pot. Second, set the top of the root bowl even with the top of the ground. Third, combine your planting mix with the soil and backfill and tamp. Fourth, lightly fertilize and water. Finally, mulch.

  • Simple and easy. Her voice is so soothing and makes me feel like I could be a gardener!

  • Made in the shade.

  • A lot of people are thinking there is nothing really growing or even blooming in areas with too much shade.

This video proves again, even a mainly shaded area can look nice and provide color to your garden if the right plants are selected.

  • Thank you......
