My favorite music artist of all time, and so under rated. This song was included in the album "Girl Talk" which was released in September of 1964.

Yes, thank you sir. Yeah after your first post, and before today, I actually changed/extended the description above and mentioned more about the album, and that great site. I'm always referencing it whenever I think I may not be sure about something. It's a great source, and around since 1965!

I was born 3 years AFTER this song, but have liked her since 1982, & had heard "It's My Party" up to that point. But man in the mid 80s I was in college & heard ""That's the Way Boys Are" and "Maybe I Know". She has officially been my favorite since college. Then to keep the fire going I discovered many other hits I'd not heard before after about 2000 to now in the Internet Age. #1 song on my b-day was TO SIR WITH LOVE by LuLu, good song, but was recently thrilled to find Lesley had her version!

Yeah that's awesome, and a great point, yeah I only recently discovered that she had releases in German, French, and Italian. No wonder I've seen so many Germans that love her! And I've listened to those versions, and even though I can't understand them I can tell that amazingly she does them about as well as the English version, there just isn't a 'dead spot' for her. I like just about any song of hers, even copies of big hits by other artists--I like her version better.

Love this song by Lesley. From her 1964 album, GIRL TALK. Lesley also does a French version of Live and Learn.
