yes this is because he was standing right in front of there dead bodies or their graves so they could hear him speaking, just as muhammed (s.a.w) spoke to the kuffars dead bodies after the battle of badr because they were right there in front of him so they could hear him......but when Ali (r.a) is buried in arabia and people in india, pakistan, Iran or america or wherever are saying "ya ali madad" , he cannot hear you and you are implying that he has some kind of all-hearing power.

Quran mentions the Prophet Salih's speech to the dead. This speech was made after his nation had been destroyed.

he said ya iblis because iblis was right there in front of allah and able to hear allah, so if ali (r.a) was standing in front of you and you said ya ali, it wouldnt be shirk, but if hes passed away and you say ya ali then you're implying that ali is all-hearing and that he can hear your call somehow, even though we know that only allah is all-hearing

It says ya iblisin quran 38:75.. If quran is mentioning that allah says o iblis..means ya iblis..
Why cant we say Ya Muhammad ? And ali and so on
