I made this video to show my son how proud I am of him for WHO he is and that I would never expect him to change! Hopefully it reaches a few people that can get where I'm coming from! Enjoy! :)
I wish all parents could have that opinion, and I wish more could see this video and your comments on it. That you're proud of your kid no matter that he has autism. I'm on the spectrum...my mom's starting to see, I think, but not my dad. Which is why I think it's awesome that you're still proud of your kid and dun want to change him.
there are many stories out there ... touching my heart each and everyone of them. I am in this worldwide family of the autistic in that my son is autistic. You invited me to come see your vids (I'm Sean and Rocky's mom). thank you. My heart is in my throat after seeing this. You see, you I have become impatient and forgotten far too often the message in this video. Thank you, especially on behalf of my son.
Thank you so much for posting this!!! Your son reminds me of my own son with autism. I advocate for autism awareness and I think your vid is soooooooo true and great. hope you dont mind i shared it on facebook. Its so important that people see that these kids are happy just the way they are.
My world is so full of sadness and despair nowadays, and it is almost entirely thanks to people like Jenny McCarthy, so I perfectly understand what is being said here. My overwhelming feeling lately is that if I cannot invite certain people (or a certain person, perhaps) to come and take a look at my world, why should scum like McCarthy et al be allowed to even comment about it?
sorry not to have seen this sooner, it's a bit 'hit and miss' what I catch, because there is SO much re autism these days being uploaded to Youtube. Anyway, this is one for the Posautive Youtube group and its kids subgroup, thank you!
OH! and I meant to say something about your dog! She reminds me a bit of our beagle-german shepherd mix. She and Ezra keep their distance. but my older son and she play and snuggle a lot
