On February 23, 2011, conservatives jammed the corner of Washington and MLK Streets, across from the Georgia Capitol Building, to show their support for Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin and his attempts to rein in the government unions. Union leaders have compared Walker's attempts to reform to Hitler's extermination of the Jews and the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. To put this in perspective, the unions are comparing the need for them to pay into their own benefits--as the rest of us already do--to the deaths of over six million people. If you needed any more evidence as to how the teachers' unions are leaving our children uneducated, this ridiculous historical comparison should be proof enough.
Baggers.
They jammed the corner, all right. We outnumbered them about 8 to 1. At least.
Buzzing with unfocused patriotism and their precious teabag delusions they were inconsequential and never grasped the irony that because of LABOR LAWS they had the time to come protest labor and make rather complete asses of themselves.
Heckuva job!

@xxdrzombiexx *sigh* How original. "Baggers" and "asses." If only you had left out the profanity, all the multi-syllabic words might have fooled people into believing you had room for a thought or two in that head. Alas, while unions had their day, their general purpose now seems to be enriching themselves at the expense of the non-union taxpayer and laundering money for the Democrat Party. But, like the captain of the Titanic, the valiant unions seem content with going down with the ship.

@xxdrzombiexx Nice comeback. Many of those in the gathering of union supporters were teachers. Of course, there were far more members of the SEIU bussed in to inflate the crowd's size, and they brought with them pre-made signs, since it remains to be seen if the dumb masses can spell "work," let alone perform any. But teachers' unions have created a system that now gives raises based on degrees and years, not performance, and kids suffer for it. Imagine a world where people are paid on merit...
