Anita O'Day was (she died last year) one of those truly great jazz-vocalists who inspire to sing along. There are two reasons for this: the freedom of her delivery of well-known jazz-standards (especially while scatting) and her "camp style", which is probably best expressed in one of her titles: "Who Cares". May she rest in peace! She will always be with us in her songs.
Sorry about the abbreviations.. You said about snow in one reply. I said send me your email address and I'll send a picture of snow and snow machine in 1947. You'd never believe it unless you saw it !

Too many abbreviations make communication incomprehensible ;-) I have no idea, what you are talking about. Cheers anyhow! Wolf

Wonderful version by Anita Phrasing only equalled by Sinatra. Your reply gave me the opportunity to listen again to both !! And yours is cabaret style, musical, and not unpleasant ( to my ears)
