  • Thank you for the lovely montage. I was definately born in the wrong time. I could have been so happy as a twenties; thirties girl. Think Dorothy Parker. Anyone else feel like this? Just curious.

  • Great job I love it :) wish I could go back to that time and stay there...

  • Hey, does anybody have a lyrics to this? I can't find it anywhere and I don't get some of the words ... I would be so so so grateful.

  • @jaroncreed People back then may have had things harder without all the modern technology, but I believe they were happier with the simpler things in life and took more time to notice what was around them - it was a whole different world. My grandmother was born inn\ 1905 so I got the stories firsthand

  • @jaroncreed Nah, I would still like to go back - and I wouldn't need the computer to listen to it - I'd have a good old victrola I(which I do own one) and I'd be going to jazz clubs live and having a blast :) I wouldn't go crazy at all - society nowadays is crazy.

  • @GeminiNightOwl Hmmm I don't think you want that. People always want to go back to some time long ago and think they will love it... They wouldn't they'd go crazy. You want to go back to the 1920s, so lets revoke everything that wasn't out in the 1920s that includes the device you used to listen to this very song

  • These old songs are just so good! Love it!

  • @SilverscreenRN o Oh my darling! I pine for this era constantly. Although I carry on with my daily life, I fantasize of a time machine to take me to the 1920s. I'm probably missing out on my one and only lifetime, but I can't help it. I adore the music of this era and I'm MAD for silent films. I'd give everything to trade places with a flapper c. 1922.

  • @SilverscreenRN aside from the girl part, i definatly feel like i was born in the wrong era. lol if only there was away to go to the time we specifically relate to and see how life would have been in that time. *sigh* if only huh?

  • @SilverscreenRN Totally!

  • @SilverscreenRN I know exactly what you mean. My sense of humor is so goofy and old-fashioned, I would have loved to have lived in the '30s and been a vaudeville/radio comedian. In today's world....well, I'm just out of place.

  • Why am I so into this !!!! leojleoj
