Brian sapient does not know what he is talking about. He said on abc nightline that America is mostly Christian but they have abortions. If he wants to point to that as being wrong and Christians do it. That shows that he knows or has a belief that Abortion is wrong. But here he says that Christians are wrong to try to stop it. And that by doing this Christians are committing a horrible crime. This guy does not know what he is talking about.
@Atamv I could get other proof... but in your head you told your self Christians don't have the answer... So to every alternative way of thinking, You close your mind to it, by the way it's called extreme denial in psychologie
you react the same way an Homophobe would react in front of a Gay, with a closed mind, you don't know so it's bad. (To every Gay person I don't try to make fun about this, I don't have to agree with your choices, But it's your rights and I agree with that)
@Atamv The Delk trace, The drawing in Cambogia of a triseratops... (there's no way they could have known what it was........... but they drew tha anyway or maybe that's a proof), Solar and Lunar recession ( a few millions years.... the moon would have been in the Earth, and the Earth in the Sun ( which, science wise... No life possible... since there would be no water). And the first science law of the Thermodynamic: ALL!!! system Goes form Complexity to Chaos...And am only beginnig
@jordouellette Im not judging all of "you". However i find it odd when people believe in magical/supernatural things when there's no direct or seemingly even indirect proof for them. All this at the same time as they support science and analytic/critical thinking.
I would believe in a deity instantly if solid unbreakable proof was presented in its favour. But there is none. Only a mishmash of total pseudo-science.
@jordouellette I wouldn´t say utopian, for example in Europe there are fewer cases of alcohol related accidents than the US even though they have the freedom to drink at any age, so the best solution would be widespread information to create a culture of contraconception in the society, and more than 50% of the cases would be gone
@Atamv Am a christian... I know that the religion blocked the progression of science.... But we are not all like that. I am really dispointed in fellow christians who says that sciences is a bad thing. If God has truly created the earth ( I think it's the case) It would be illogical to say that God is agaisnt science since science explain how things work. Don't juge us like that's because of a bunch of fool who thought that science was sorcery.... that was them... not us
@ElrichEdward were I live.... never been an issues... and I looked. Of course... if it was to occur then... I would say that's normal to make an abortion in these cases. But between you and me... it's not always the case. If we put aside rape... it's fact that's people these days neglect protection... If people had a better morality (regardless of the religion), 50% of these case would be gone.... But you will probably agree with methat's Utopic: right
