That is a very, very nice mod.
Also the amplifier in those old monsters sounds pretty nice too. Might want to treat the hifi to new electrolytic capacitors though because after 30 years they will be dry and not performing as they should.

Genius! combined and modified a B&O 4600 with a Mac PowerBook together. It's liked a jukebox, I think B&O have to consider this idea and make similar audio system.
