I'm sure the Enfield will do well, EFI will probably make hot starting easier :-) Anth.

Aghh!that explains why there is hardly any about,i think they were too expensive when launched in the UK.I like SR's as the originalYamaha SR but i think the idea of a jap engine in a Brit cafe racer style bike was a bit too contraversial at the time.Maybe if people had not seen the original to compare it with,it might of been more successful?I wonder if the new EFI engined R,Enfield bullet will be a success?

Because Goldies fitted with an Amal GP carb don't have a tickover, it's blip or stall... Cheers, Anth :-)
