  • I need to order about 40 sheets of this stuff for my studio. Can you give a link to something you have recorded in this booth with these absorption sheets? I really want to hear how they sound before I spend $300 on sheets :/. I need to record serious vocals and I need it professional sounding. I've got a $2000 condenser mic, and all I need to take care of is the sound proofing

  • @xtensitymusic I don't have anything available,

  • how much was it total boards pads and all cause im building the same exact thing

  • @AUSTIN615FBGM I'd say just under $200 (over half of that was the foam.. maybe you can find cheaper prices

  • Hey great vid but I can't find the wood do u remember the exact name of it.. Plz let me kno ASAP so I can get it.. Thankz

  • @LladeeKB i dont know the exact name, but one side is smooth and the other is rough. could be just... plywood

  • You forgot about ventilation. I am being very serious about this but if your vocalist passes wind while in a close confined quarters it can prove detrimental to the take because it can interfere with proper breathing, which as you know is essential for any singer. Without ventilation the odors simply do not dissipate and the nausea such an experience produces can directly affect the vocal performance. Nobody can sing when they are gagging and gasping for breath. You need to vent that bad boy

  • @thechazdarby why go to school for a cheap tip like this basic setup?

  • @BigFatBetty OMG! Its not a closed in section. Its just a creation to help with the acoustics around the mic. If you read the title it says cheap studio booth nothing more and nothing less. Good job to the homey who created this idea. My ol'lady recommend I do something like this and thats how I come to research this video to see if its possible. Great Job! Peace...

  • good stuff!!!

  • you make me wanna become black.

  • @1234helium You kick ass! Thanks :D
