  • ALL the pipes play. This is a rare example of round 32s. Most are built square or rectangular which is much easier. Also, most pipes are never on display for 2 reasons. Not enough room and if they were visible they could not be enclosed for expression.

  • SOund is nice picture a little shakey. Too bad could not get closer to console. What a sound!!!. You R lucky to have got such responce to those really powerful Reed stops.

  • @manga12 Just like a religious person to makerroneoustatements. Perhaps it's by faith.

I am not atheist. My wife and I simply do not believe myths and fairytales. We don't worship anything.

Rituals are ridiculoushows to impress gullibles and those of lower intelligence. You have no idea if anyone ismarter than I but apparentlyou are quite correcthat people "are far smarter" than you. But it's easy to see that religions are myth.

    [atheist][comparative][science][than][scientists]

  • well its obvious you are an athiest, and I bet you were not always that way, they are not silly, if you take into context as a comparitive religious studies scholar, many athiests worship sciance and logic, in a way that a religious person would worship a higher power, sciance and faith are not required to be mutual exclusives, and I can tell you people far smarter then you or I were sciantests and men and women of faith.

  • @manga12 Why not put it the disgusting way that it is? Rituals are worthless acts. Do you really believe that God wants people to do silly RITUALS? How do worthless rituals glorify God?

All religions, regardless of which of the many flavors, are fairytales, man-made myth, and superstition. Or are you impressed by so-called "virgin birth", walking on water, dying on the cross, etc.? Many died on the cross -in case you did not know.

  • yes they are quite graphic but do you have to put it that way, most of the real hearts in churches are parts of saints they are called relics a part of the saints and holy peoples of the past, they way you put it makes it sound like you are playing mortal kombat or something, and the rituals have a reason not just for ritual sake but for the greater glory of God and are used as a reminder for the people in attendance of what Jesus did for us, or the respect we have for him.

  • Yes, this is one of the great organs of today. But the real joy would to have heard Alexander Schreiner play, who was organist for over 50 years at the tabernacle, who, alone with G. Donald Harrison, of Aeoline-Skinner, designed the instrument of instruments for the Tabernacle in the 50s. Schreiner was the man who put the Tabernacle choir and it's organ on the map. Saddly, the Mornon Church has totally dismissed his accomplishments. They've never reproduced 1 of his recordings to CD or DVD.

  • Does anyone have or know where can I get the music sheet for J Spencer Cornwall's arrengement to this hymn?

  • I heard Alexander Schriner play this once, and a wonderful remembrance.

  • @Audinos "Petty" is an incorrect synonym for ACCURATE.

  • I had almost forgotten how petty you can be, Robert.

  • @Audinos Well, the Catholics DO have some wonderful organs.

And lots of fun ridiculous rituals.

And their costumes are quite fancy and expensive, as are the statues and all the other relics.

And, as a firefighter/EMS, I like to play with fire and fragrant smoke, and just love the graphic bloody portrayals of bleeding wounds, and hearts cut out and put on morbidisplay.
