(I hope I got the captain's poem right - took part from when he was practicing on Scruffy (lol) and then from the song)

Aw Joanie - your skills keep getting better and better - I enjoyed your using the 'after' looks. Especially the one from 'Madeira my Dear?' when she forgets her shoes - the look on his face tells volumes. And I don't believe you should rule out writing - lots of us start just because a variation on the theme won't get out of our heads. Thanks for inspiring all of us today!

@gaylesamm - Oh thank you so much - I really do appreciate all the comments and feedback. And I may not respond all the time to the group discussions, but I have to tell you that I follow everything that you (and the other ladies) contribute and I really do admire all of the writings immensely! You are so talented!! If I ever come up with something halfway decent, I'll be sure to share it. (But its highly unlikely, lol! I may need to stick to video.)

@upeasterner - Thanks so much. Yeah, I have to admit it's kind of hard to come up with something different at times. I fall in love with certain scenes, looks, etc and then tend to use them over and over, a fault of mine I know. Plus finding the right music can take a while. But there's always something new popping up in my head now and then - it's just getting it "out" there that takes a while, lol! Enjoy Cairo Time - I think you will really love it. I know I did. :)

Finally found it! I really think it's one of your best ones, too. You've captured some of the lesser-known "looks" moments and brought them into focus. Getting ready to watch Cairo Time, btw. Then I'll watch your vid! I really enjoy the GaMM stuff. I know there's very little to work with only two seasons and many silly Claymore eps, but know that we truly appreciate your talent!

Oh, the poetry isn't mine - it's the captains. He was trying to read it to Carolyn, but 'daily life' always kept getting in the way. Finally he placed the poem where a visiting singer/songwriter found it and he (Harry Nilsson) put it to song and sang it for all. It was a very sweet episode.

I haven't written anything in years - used to back in high school for our literary magazine. Now there are so many writers and blogs out there - I couldn't compare. Same way with my sketching/art. ~Joanie

Aw, sounds like such a nice day. That reminds me of when my mom and sister and I (parents divorced, so it was just us 3) used to visit my great aunt upstate in the Catskill Mountains. We had such fun with her. She was so young at heart. I miss her dearly.
