People often dismiss Broadway performers as those who aren't good enough to make it in movies or TV. These are the hardest working (and lowest paid) people in the business. This number is just one in a show with many musical numbers - and they do it eight shows a week, plus rehearsals, plus countless promo appearances @ any venue who wants them. There's no lip-syncing, no retakes, no editing and no commercial breaks. What you see is what you get...and it's usually amazing.

@mmbr01rrf oooo ok, I just thought you never saw a long dance routine in a musical, yeah I agree tap can be VERY tiring, but ballet combine with all the acting looked very difficult too for such a long period of time.

@nata3210 That routine truly is ballet and this is tap. True- it's all dancing but I still feel a tap routine this long temporarily just wipes out the legs and hips in a way that ballet doesn't. At least, that's the way I always felt.

People stop bashing Glee! I watch it. And I'm glad that it has opened me up to Musicals! From Rocky Horror to Wicked. :) It's not all bad! Yes I know there are fanatics who are delusional. And believe that Cory Monteith can sing and that everyone is not auto tuned. And there are the musically oblivious kids who thing that Glee covers are the best (which is totally not true). But again we all have different preferences. So stop Glee bashing.
