Yeah, sounds like Stephen Johnston, you can not only get his audio on CD, but now it comes on DVD, think it takes like 72 hours or so to listen to the entire Bible. I actually prefer the voice of Alexander Scourby, but he only narrates in KJV, but even though KJV would normally be a bit harder difficulty level, Scourby's voice keeps my attention, never monotone, but also not over dramatic.
It sounds like the same guy who played the lead in the Twilight Zone episode, "To Serve Man", Lloyd Bochner. That great actor has died. S if he narrated what you're looking for, the title will be in imdb or Wikipedia.

The narrator's name is Stephen Johnston.
He narrates several different versions of the Bible. The 1611 KJV is what should be read and listened to.

It also sounds like Leslie nielsen when he was younger and more serious an actor.
