@hyhne i've listened to all the greats of jazz trumpet, but tom harrell is the only one who never fails to come up with creative and inspirational solos. in my opinion his ideas are always fresh, and always leave me speechless

So many different styles of playing, and then there are guys who can play quite a few of those different styles. For me ... it's the lines through the changes and not the lightening fast valve techniques or the high note players ... but it's such a flexible instrument and respect to all styles.

Tom has ears, a lot of players has just noise, but lack of good jazz lines, like Dave Douglas, he´s good, i know, but c´mon, he just blow like crazy with no ears at all.
