HP TouchPad running Google Android (CyanogenMod 7.1)

CM7.1 is now available for the HP TouchPad, which means anyone can install Android on the tablet and dual boot Android and webOS.

There are still a few kinks to work out, but for the most part the tablet feels quite snappy with Android, and most apps work as you'd expect -- even Netflix.

@BradLinder Hello Brad. my bro gave me hp touchpad, i tried all the reset options but it still has 6 GB space consumed. i tried webos doctor and a few more things but it wont work. i want it back to stock version. i want to know whats consuming the 6gb space. Help me out please.

Great video for a dork like me who is scared of installing android and fucking up my touch pad....i bought mine for 299 :( will wait for another 6 months to see what happens with the development and also to see if open source does anything with the web os software. Thanks for posting :)

@jage187 You could always install CM7 and then try to install this app. I don't have one myself, but this shouldn't be too difficult.
