You have to run 1.5 miles immediately after a 800m (half mile) warm up in 12 minutes or less, for the Parachute regiment the run time is 9 mins 30secs but try to aim for around 9mins 18secs to shine above the rest and impress. For fuck sake if you can't run that you seriously need to go away, train and come back when you are ready, i could do it on my hands and knees in 12mins. Just remember, don't be a sheep, be the shepherd and give 110% effort.

@1spoon1fork hahahaha Dude that is exactly how the US Military works! Officer make shit order - soldier carries it out without thinking and gets someone killed...Not the British Army sunshine. The Officer tells the NCO in command of each section what the objective is, the soldier decides the most repressive and safe way to carry out that objective and then proceeds with it, boom job done. Plus who the heck do you think is giving the orders...oh yeah some who did HARDER training...

@lilartist10 If that's your outlook, then I wouldn't want you to be in the British Army.
I'm 17 and currently in the process of joining the Army. If you have read the "SOLID C", you will understand that O means Respect for Others. There is no place for any form of harassment or discrimination in an Army that claims to 'Be the Best'
If you do feel that you want to continue with your application, I suggest you mature a bit first, otherwise you'll find yourself beasted around for discrimination.
