Just for the record, pretty much every single presidential election the president does not have 50%+ of the popular vote because of the third parties. So, generally speaking, every president is unwanted by the majority of voters.
Bush did not become president in 2000 because of the electoral college, he was appointed by the supreme court.
America is a constitutional republic, not a democracy or dictatorship. Article 4 Section 4 of the constitution states that we are guaranteed a Republican form of government. Something in this country is not illegal if its unpopular its illegal if its unconstitutional. BTW I don't like Bush either.

It's called a Republic, not a dictatorship. We have never been a democracy. Look it up.
