ROCKAWAY BEACH QUEENS PLAYLAND A trip back to a time long forgotten. When life was simpla and FUN. The drug of choice was FAMILY AND FUN. Many hours on the beach under the Boardwalk in the Bungalows. The ending has a little twist about Iraq. Our children's future, our future and the FUTURE OF THE WORLD. I felt secure until September 11th. @1997gators Even though your comment is 3 years old, I too remember the Rockaways, and what once was. I was born in 1971 but going to Rockaway's Playland was always a treat. I go back as far as remembering Martin's Corner across from Playland on B98 street, Pinky's Fasination which was the arcade across from Martin's Corner, and next to the electric go-carts. And I can't forget aboutthe consession stand that was down on Rockaway Beach Blvd on B 95th street.
