pilotcar.tv - Impatient Rude Commuters Won't Let Oversize Load Merge I-84 Cheshire CT

In this clip we see a bunch of impatient commuters just before the start of rushour in Cheshire, Connecticut. On this section of I-84 the road goes from four lanes down to two lanes and the 4 wheelers just didn't want to let the dairy silo oversize load merge. The rudest drivers were from North Carolina and a car with a dealer tag from Rhode Island. I can only hope karma catches up to them quickly. I didn't record an audio track which is just as well as it included many curse words. Instead I included a nice track from People In Planes through AudioSwap,

Wow, what a waste of 4 1/2 min. I guess im the only one to state the obvious, in the first min the oversize was in the right lane flying past the slowed traffic in the left (very unsafe) then once it had to slow it pulled along side the cars and just expected them to clear a path, thats not how it works. You are supposed to slow your speed and slowly merge in with the traffic, not just try to push your way in. And for the haters i am a 17yr exp CDL driver, all with no tickets or accidents.

@rtbblin Thanks for your comment. You failed to mention which part of the country you live/work in. I doubt you work in the northeast. Courteous driving practices are not the norm in the northeast and if we were to do as you described we'd still be waiting for traffic to let us merge.

LOL... I gotcha now... lots of assholes and motherfuckers were being said... but I had unplugged the headset for a phone call during this section so I inadvertently censored myself. It's always a toss up between keeping it businesslike or REAL. I tend to lean toward REAL but have to be careful to keep things professional as well.

@pilotcartv Im based out of Indy but i run all 48, and have spent alot of time in the northeast, and im very aware of what you are saying, my point is when im driving and a vehicle wants to merge whether it be a car or big truck, if they slow next to me or slighlty ahead of me ill hold back and let them in, but when they come flying past me and then try to just push their way in, im not going to let them.
