Complete ride-through of the Kilimanjaro Safaris shot in HD in 2009. This is part 1 of 2.
From Disney.com:
Kilimanjaro Safaris, an attraction for Guests of all ages, provides the chance to see African animals including giraffes, black rhinos and lions, as they roam the 100-acre savannah in the Africa area of Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park.
The Kilimanjaro Safaris tour begins in the Harambe Wildlife Reserve, across the river from Discovery Island. Climb aboard a rugged open-sided safari vehicle for an exciting expedition through the wildlife preserve. The ride can be a bit bumpy as it crosses rickety bridges, rocky hills and rivers—but you're rewarded with spectacular animal sightings.
Since animals have minds of their own, no two Kilimanjaro Safari experiences are the same. You may even catch a glimpse of one of the many baby animals that were recently born at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park.
Perhaps you'll see one of these species:
Antelope
Baboon
Black rhino
Cheetah
Crocodile
Elephant
Flamingo
Gazelle
Giraffe
Hippopotamus
Lion
Okapis
Ostrich
Warthog
White rhino
Wildebeest
Zebra
The attraction concludes when your tour guide receives word that poachers have taken a baby elephant from its mother. Your truck takes off on a chase to help save the infant animal from harm.
You never know what amazing animals you'll see on Kilimanjaro Safaris. Keep your eyes open and your camera ready!

@jeenyus720 I think thats why they say to stay seated. I highly doubt that will happen, but I am pretty sure they'll let you stop.

I plan on going on Kilimanjaro Safaris in 2019 if I've saved up enough.

Although the Kilimanjaro Safaris ride didn't exist until 1997ish (and therefore the African animals weren't in Florida until then), there IS a rather large preserve set up in Florida by Disney (mostly likely opened near the time Walt Disney World was being constructed). Whenever a wild alligator or other such native member of the Florda wildlife is found wandering around the resorts or Parks, the Disney security people catch the animal and release it into the preserve.

Wow, I love this ride like you wouldn't believe. When I was like 7 or 8, I would always say, "Stupid poachers!" after your tour guide said that you needed to stop the poachers just because I wanted to see more animals. LOL :D Hey, and you posted this a week before my birthday! :D
