This is my favorite holiday song of all time. Linus and Lucy by Vince Guaraldi. A Charlie Brown Christmas. Since I was a small child watching Charlie Brown and Snoopy, the Christmas time tale and this song remain a memorable favorite. I ask every piano player I see to play if for me. This piano player (Paul Helm) was in the center of the Milwaukee, Wisconsin airport today and once again, I just couldn't resist asking. Thanks Paul.

  • It is an awesome song! Being a bass player, I love Stu Hamm's version also.

  • @kidsTeachGuitar2kids - man, I'd love to see Stu Hamm's version, I'm off to Google it now. He's one of my favorite Bass players on the planet. I saw and met Stu over in Marin playing with a good friend of mine on guitar. He playred "Going to California" by Led Zeppelin as a solo on the bass. Incredible!! Jo Satriani is also a family favorite in the Andersohn home.

  • Charlie Brown's Christmas was my favorite as a kid. I used to wait for it to come on TV--that was in the days before recording was possible and DVD were far in the future; if it was on, you had to be there to see it. This song has so much energy to it and, like "Classical Jazz", just infused you when you heard it. Thanks, Brad!

  • @sheila95472 - this is truly and honestly one of my favorite all-time Christmas songs. The childhood memories are some of the best ones of my life! Happy Holidays Sheila :-)

  • @bandersohn I'm sure it is out there. I have heard Stu play it multiple times, but I believe first time was in his bass solo on April 24, 1988 in San Juan Capistrano @ The Coach House with Joe Satriani. I had to look that up on google and found it by remembering The Dan Reed Network opened. It was my second time seeing Satriani live. The first was at a small country bar called "The Palomino" in LA for $5. Kirk Hammett and Billy Sheehan were there watching, but I don't know if Stu was on bass.
