  • Beijing is a very modern city. The city in the video is Guiyang. It is in central southern China. Guizhou province. It has one of the slowest development rates in China but beautiful nature sites if you go just outside of the city.

  • @sbrown1721 don't know about southwest at all but I 'd say this street scene is familiar enough. the place I grew up in Beijing (90s and 00s) is only marginally better than this one in terms of sanitary condition and shabbiness, people always keep indoors clean and are free to renovate interior however they like tho... even these days lots of outlandish priced new developments in Beijing are actually amid this kind of environment... with better management and utilities I guess?

  • what are all the stickers, on the doors on your way up the stairs?

  • Thumb up. I like it as it's true. But this case maybe below average. Thx you to remind people to have thing to be changed.

  • Well that was very interesting!

  • Yo, those old buildings were built during the communist era and were given out for free to citizens due to communism acts. They are now being destroyed but many people complain because it has become a great place for social life and culture.
