@thebipolarbear94 Nope, as they say in this video the CPU was watercooled. You have to blame the person that said watercooling is too expensive.

@thebipolarbear94 , Cpu should have been under the smaller heatsink. They needed a bigger (or longer/wider) gpu heatsink from the get go, perhaps with active cooling, it would have avoided everything.
They gave the CPU a giant heatsink even though the GPU was what is making most of the heat.

@south10800 The PS3 is a glorified Bu-Ray player with a somewhat flawed gaming functionality. Get over yourself.
