The Harper Government is holding unadvertised (to the average citizen ) meetings to discuss the fate of your Post Office. You and your workplace should be aware. Your post Office is at risk, and prices will soar on letters based on the distance it is going.

  • If canada post wants to store data on me couldnt care less maybe stop fucking over every single Canadian with there absolutely outrageous cost to ship a parcel. they need to learn something from the United states postal service

  • I don't think they can get any worse.

  • I agree with you. Canada Post must stay a universal, public service. If it gets privatized and sold off. Places like Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary etc will see improved service. But everywhere else will just see increased prices with no service improvments. This is what happened when Translink bought out BC Transit. This is not fair to the hundreds of thousands of people living outside the lower mainland. Stay strong brother.

  • You Tube search kam75 and see CUPW 2011 Negotiations video with audio, pass it on brothers and sisters! Thanks.

  • STOP the deregulation of Canada Post!!! STOP Moya Greene and HARPER!!! Two freaking evils coming together!!! Harper is "in bed" with Greene...as grotesque as that image is,it's true. Canada Post will no longer exist once they get through with their damage!

  • CUPW supports UPCE Stike Action. Solidarity Brothers and Sisters. Moya Green we are coming for you next. Edmonton CUPW stands with you during this strike. This will affect us all. Stand up and Fight!

  • If the post office deregulates, what happens to the pension plan?

What happens to the pension plan even if Moya's Modern Post goes ahead and we lose a large portion of the membership?

Has anybody looked at this aspect yet?

Oh, and people only have to look as far as the U.K. to see what privatization will do to their postal service.

  • good job brother ....stay the course!
