My Piper, you could not preach this any louder or clearer! It is a tremendous blessing to hear you spell it out for those who do live by moralism and legalism..the clanging gongs. Thank you so very much for your ministry!
@rdor011 It's not that we not only sin against others, but most terribly against the Law of God. What love is greater than the love of God that convicts men of their sin, where they must come to Jesus to pay for all the wages of sin which is death? If one's heart convicts one of breaking any one of the 10 Commandments, it is because God's Law is written in our hearts. Yet without knowing what sin is, we cannot repent of it and see a need for redemption for the consequences of sin.
@hannaremnant you haven't really replied to anything in my comment. Piper implies that it's impossible for non-believers to love or care about anything but themselves. Visit any hospital ward and you'll see otherwise.
it's impossible for non-believers to love or care about others, including relatives? I guess that view come from living in an insular bubble with other christians for most of your life.

So, when we are born again, we naturally love people, because of the love that lives inside of us. God help me, amen!
