Asians are not that smart.I've studied with tons of Asians who were international students and I never noticed that they know more than me.They're just like everyone else but with bigger population.

Asia is a big place. Just like Europeans aren't all the same, so are Asians.

I do not think this is coincidence that these Asian, Indian, and Middle-Eastern groups are slowly becoming intellectually dominant in the world because they were in the past according to history. Even the crusaders were amazed at the streets of Jerusalem with their sophisticated municipal engineering. Marco Polo experienced Ancient China and later stated, "more wealth can be found in a single street of China than all the cities of Europe."

We can see this with Jewish groups, though, unlike Asians, it wasn't really their own nation killing them off, but the persecution of other nations against them, as of present they are creating wonders beyond imagination in the fields of science and technology now that they have had a chance to flourish, it's as if it's become the  rise of the Babylonian age.

I think the primary reason some Asian groups are rising to the top now is because their countries have not continued the viscous cycle or intellectual genocide. As more and more bright Asians appear on this earth, it will be interesting to see that wonders could unfold that once made them sort of the center of the ancient world.

eg. Ancient China, greed was so prevalent in their society all the way up to the top (emperor) that they created classes, and blocked weak, poor people from even having a chance at education or even to survive in the ancient times. quite a different situation from Athenians for example. Several accounts were given where they slaughtered the brightest minds in their society because of jealousy and fear.

Some of the Asians I have met are quite smart, but... quite self-preservering that when it comes to anything social or political, they fail miserably.  They may have great compassion to their family, friends who they have something to gain from, but unless anyone else has significant importance they wouldn't give them the time of day. If you have this behavior on a large scale, one can understand why they had such a history of atrocities in their culture for centuries.
