@exposingcrooks Yes there is a thing called trend forecasting, it's called future studies and wikipedia has a big article on it. If you were 300 pounds, smoked 2 packs a cigarettes a day, ate fast food, drank alcohol and sat on your ass and you went to your doctor and he said that you were on a one way ticket to death would you say, "oh doc you're such a doom and gloomer?" you have your opinon on gerald and so do I. I think Gerald is a great human being and I wish there were more like him

@rudemood2011 Celente is not an economist and hes not an investment expert, SO WTF is he even being interviewed??????? There is NO SUCH THING AS A TREND FORECASTER. It is a COMPLETELY BOGUS TITLE. @exposingcrooks First off Celente is not an economist. He is a trends forecaster. Secondly he dos not predict doom. He has been in business since 1980 I beleive and he was very optimistic up until the last few years. Gerald understands reality. He calls it as it is. Just like if your body was full of cancer and you went to a doctor and he gave you all kinds of bad news on your health, would you say, "oh that doctor is such a doom and gloomer?" Celente is a FRAUD. HE is a COMPLETE JOKE. He has NO Track record. He did not PREDICT JACK. Simply spewing things after reading the newspaper (as Celente does) does NOT qualify as predicting. Celente does NOT research. These are FACTS. If you are unaware of these facts, I suggest you look into it. Google "Celente Futurist Fraud."
