Twin Turbo 350z vs Supercharged Shelby GT500T

Having a couple of runs with my buddy's Shelby GT500T. all runs started on 60 km/hr. last run the 350z short shifted in 2nd due to loosing traction!

The gt500 stock motor is rated for well over 1000hp from the factory. With an 8k aftermarket supercharger and heat exchanger you can hit the 1000hp mark. You would have to rebuild the engine to reach those numbers with a stock GT 5.0

You guys should both know the car is called something like BMW 1 series M coupe. The M1 is a rally car or something like that. PS I was thinking a built GT would be better than a GT500 S197.

@boondocksaint18 They are not even close comparable in price. M3 E92 is almost 2 times more expensive than 370Z even NISMO version. M1 also.

135 M-package is my choice for track days, it's same price as 370Z and it's great car.

Corvette ZR1 is astonishing car, and can't be compared to 1 or 2 classes less. ZR1 is great, fabulous answer to 200,000+ Euro exotics. I love exotics, they have special place in motorsport, but when small man wants to race a track day at Willow Springs than, Nissan GT-R, ZR1, and super-fast track day car like Ultima GTR (i know its kit car, but LS7 doing great job). 370Z is much better looking from reviews, but also cost 10k$ more. RX8 is nice car.

@2jzgtejza80 considering this race probably took place in America....that's irrelevant, and in either ase, 100,000, 140,000, still takes down cars that cost 250,000+. Yeah the 370 has better handling, and supposedly the ride isn't as horrible, but, I still prefer the smooth ride, 4 seats, quiet unless I'm on it engine in my RX8 for a much cheaper price tag.
