ME/CFS patients are so low in energy that even vital organs such as the heart have difficulty functioning normally. The minimal exertion of standing up is enough to cause the heart rate to shoot up and cause fainting within minutes. This symptom is a form of OI (Orthostatic Intolerance) called POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) and is only one of a long list of debilitating symptoms for ME/CFS (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) sufferers.

You have to see it to believe it... Stupid question, but could you please let me know what the abbreviations mean? Thanks dude.

@Oracle253 Good question actually. I updated the video details defining the abbreviations. It's thought that 97% of ME/CFS sufferers have this problem. Even sitting causes increased heart rate and exertion for me but I can sit longer than I can stand.
