Bruce Cockburn cover: Honey Babe Let the Deal Go Down

From a Mississippi Sheiks tribute album that was released not long ago. Standard tuning. Solo & lyrics are a bit off as I learned and recorded this in the space of 45 minutes....What is the narrator of this song saying to his 'honey babe', anyway? In the first verse he seems to be goading her into conspiring in some sort of robbery.
I really love how this is produced on the cd; Cockburn should think about having these guys produce a whole album for him. Or an album of old skool covers.

The title is wrong on this. It should say "Honey Babe, Let The Deal Go Down". In other words take out the "Don't "
