Being a Jew in prison sucks. As for how many Jews are in prison, we represent less than 2% of the population. When I was at NKSP there were 6 of us and 6300 other inmates - thats less than one percent. As for lasting a day in prison? Being targeted, hated and discriminated against by the cons and the c.o.s only made me stronger and closer to my Jewish identity. Next year in Jerusalem, I pray to Hashem that Israel will accept a felon and I can be with my people in the land of my ancestors.

I can't imagine what it's like in most other prisons for a jew. With the Aryan brotherhood and the black gangs, and muslim prisoners from Gitmo Obama's trying to integrate with Americas general pop., the average jewish man in prison wouldn't last a day, esp with the tattoo. I'm not racist, I'm just desensitized cause I know people who went to prison and this is what they said. Just being real.

This guy did more than just burglary; he resisted arrest with violence and also assaulted several innocent people during an escape. However, a life sentence is still far too extreme for what he did.
