NOTE: This is an excerpt from the two-part, 60-minute DVD.

Stan Tenen notes that the two primary names of God in the Hebrew Torah refer to the fundamental metaphysical principles of duality: the god within and the god without, god as a singular entity and god as infinite. The key insight of Judaism, that these principles are actually one, is embedded in the very structure and shape of the Hebrew letters. Tenen further explains that these letters can all be derived from a language of gestures - and suggests that this was the original language of humanity.

Stan Tenen is Director of Research of the MERU Foundation. He has produced several videotapes including The Dance of the Hebrew Letters and Geometric Metaphors of Life is currently working on a book about the sacred geometry embodied in Genesis and the alphabet.

  • @AmethystDreaming Do you mind sharing the name of the book? I also found his name in a book. In me case, the book is called "Pyramids of Montauk" by Nichols/Moon

  • the Yud Mem ending is also used to express a singularity, such as the word "ba'alim" = the owner, and not "the owners" Furthermore, in the hebrew language the plural is used as way to honor someone. When speaking to a great man, and this may be in other languages too, for centuries Jews have used the Hebrew, "atem" you plural, instead of "ata" you singular. The plural is simply a sign of honor for ONE subject.

  • Just came across references to Stan's work in a book loaned to me by a very good friend many moons ago. I feel his work is taking me further on my journey closer to the Divine. Thank you Stan!!!

  • Wow! This is fascinating! I never really looked at language from this perspective, let alone a sacred geometry. I would love to watch the full episode of this excerpt. Is it available to listen to or purchase online? Thank you for posting! Great information!
