Here's a quick look at Lenovo's IdeaPad S12. It's the first netbook to feature NVIDIA's ION platform.

  • its so bright and has such a good contrast that you can go outsidewith it in the summer time and have almost no problems

  • Horrible !!! its glossy !!!! fucks sake... why cant they make it non glossy ? like the S10 and S10e ?

    awesome S12 tho

  • i took alook on their site but the only ones i see is intel graphics or via ....... Were is ion >:(!

  • I noticed that also theres no ion in the US. I did see a 330 atom ion mini itx board though.

  • Except that Lenovo's site lists S12 available in the US in the 945 and Via varieties.

    Not a whisper of Ion.

  • They come with both 950 and ION. You can choose for additional $'s.

  • yea on lenovo's site it shows they come with 950 chip like the first gen s10. it will take the nvidia card to want this one as i like the look as the first gen

  • no nvidia for USA?? umm... if its true, then im not getting it...

  • 802.11 b/g is decent. But when WiFi is your main mode of internet access i would much rather have 802.11n.

  • ok so on lenovos site for USA it is only comming with 950 video chip not the nvida etc.. can anyone confirm this? i already own the s10 wihich i love but the video card will be a deal sealer for me if we can get the nvidia chip...
