The Indonesian Business Coalition on AIDS (IBCA) is a non-profit alliance of businesses operating in Indonesia, working together to adopt best practices to help reverse the spread of HIV.
Purpose & Vision
Purpose:
To reduce the negative impact of HIV and AIDS on business profitability and economic growth by establishing a network of high quality information and best practices, eliminating HIV based stigma and discrimination, and building sustainable partnerships between the private sector and other stakeholders in Indonesia.
Vision:
To create an anti-discriminatory workplace that is healthy and safe from HIV/AIDS for all businesses in Indonesia.
Mission:
To stop the prevalence and business risk of HIV and AIDS in Indonesia.
Goal 1: To halt and reverse HIV/AIDS by the delivery of effective workplace programs for all workers within the National Framework.
Goal 2: To spread the message that HIV and AIDS is a business issue.
Organisational Objectives:
To create and develop the IBCA as the key mechanism to deliver an effective private sector response to HIV/AIDS in Indonesia.
To assist employers to develop non discriminatory workplace policies and to deliver effective, affordable workplace programs to national and multinational companies and small & medium size enterprises.
Promote awareness of HIV/AIDS as a social and economic risk to the business community.
Member companies to act as role model to businesses operating in Indonesia and promote the adoption of best practice.
