University of North Texas - "Believe" (New Stadium Capital Campaign)

This video was released in April, 2009 to promote the building of a new football stadium on the campus of the University of North Texas. It will replace the aging Fouts Field. In Fall of 2008, the students passed a referendum to increase the athletic fee, which by Texas law may only cover up to half of the construction cost. According to the Coordinating Board in Austin, UNT will be larger in enrollment than Texas A&M University in the next 10 years so........should they wait before they become the 2'nd largest university in the Lone Star State before they build a big time football stadium?

they mixed in 3 straight sunbelt conference titles (02, 03, & 04) with facilities that were about on par with top-level high schools around the state of texas. in other words, against ALL college football odds. they also "mixed in" back to back D-1 rushing leaders during that time. they could never hope to compete with what they have currently. kansas state used to be a laughing stock too. give 'em a chance. just sayin'.
