Typing w Vella pt 3) I had never seen anyone in High School sound that pro!! They killed it! Next day in class Vella asks "How did u like it"? You could tell Miss Neft hated it, she was shocked like she never saw music like that before. I was cringing man, I wasnthinking "u dumbass bitch". Anyway that's my Bella story. She was beyond amazing then!

Typing w Vella pt.2 ) Miss Neft always talked about her singing. One day Vella said "I sing too. Our band will be playing lunchtime tomorrow."Wonderful" said Ms. Neft. "Looking forward to it. " Next Day, Jimmy (playing a Gibson es175) shows up w Vella and three background singers and they started w a cover of Aretha's " respect" and Vella sounded JUST like Aretha! Talk aboutnopening a huge can o' whoop-ass!!(see part 3).

Ha ha! Vella was in (Anna Neft's) typing class w me at Hamilton high school in LA in 1969. She was very quiet and humble; I think she spoke w a slight lisp. Miss Neft was a stuffy old lady w horn rimmed glasses who sung oper(see part 2)
