Right! Of course, we don't respect people taking home a few dollars an hour for their trouble volunteering. No! If they're going to take home any money for their trouble, then it had better be a lot of money. I only respect kitchens that leave volunteers empty-handed or kitchens that pay workers a lot of money--a living wage. I don't respect them paying anything in between. Nope. I outlaw that!
