@AndrewTally The unions own Labour, and use "The Union Modenisation Fund" to funnel taxpayers money in a roundabout way to Labour.
No party comes out smelling of roses on funding, however, that is NO excuse to bow to some people's calls for state (taxpayer) funding of political parties. Let the rich waste their money.
