@RVqueen you look pretty old enough to know some things because this is youtube i cant explain the way i want to. take a plane to the dominacan republic travel to the bateys and talk to the people there they will tell you all there is to problems and to answer your question the goverment. teachers. etc. his way of life him living is needed to have a birthcertificate the goverment makes these decission theres PROBLEMS LIKE DESCRIMINATION LEAD TO THESE PROBLEMS

Who told this young man that his identity is defined by paperwork or the lack of it?
I have US a born friend without birth certificate, by his parent's choice, to avoid the problems of government interference.

Papers. Its amazing the extent to which they control our lives. What many in the US call "illegal aliens" or more aptly called "sin papeles". Your whole existence is outlawed for lack of a paper. You captured this reality very well here, Alicia!

The problem is not that these people are missing documentation, but that governments require documentation. Of course this guy was born, we don't need a certificate to know that.
