Andrew is an apprentice chef at Las Iguanas where he currently covers the range section, looking after the cleaning schedule, checking incoming deliveries, running the shifts and opening and closing the kitchen. Before starting as an apprentice he had no qualifications and felt he had no hope. Having overcome personal issues as well, he's now on the road to achieving an NVQ in Travel and Tourism Services and Key Skills whilst working full time and supporting his family. The Apprenticeship Programme has given Andrew great confidence at work and at home where his new passion for good food has him passing on his knowledge to his children. Andrew is a much-liked and respected member of the team and he is a true inspiration to others.
