My exact thoughts. I love his mindset of this whole topic. They went around colonizing and conquering everything that wasn't a threat to them all for resources and greed. They forced other cultures to follow their demonic culture and if they don't abide, they use force to eradicate 90% of the population. This movie reminds of of what they did to the Native Americans.
WarVideo- As long as you are thanking European colnization for civilizing indigenous cultures, you are an oppressor to those same cultures today. Your benefitting from unjust privelige and entitlement, going along with status quo, while the indigenous cultures are STILL oppressed because 'entitlement' says that your life is better... The movie was making a point that what YOU see as 'barbarism' was really the prevailing philosophy of how the Na'vi people lived - community sustainability.

I enjoyed the movie, not thinking of anything political. But, the world has been in a flux of change since the beginning. How do we know who the indegenous peoples of any area are? People have roamed since the beginning of time, displacing present inhabitants.
