Chaff is also used in meteorology to better gauge large scale, upper air, wind patterns.

Jan 23rd 2008 was the night before the planned space shuttle launch(that ended up being delayed). The wind patterns over Cape Canaveral, where this image is located, are constantly monitored. Using chaff in this way is not unusual at all.

Dude I know this was a long time ago, I stumbled across your reply that I didn't care to check before. I have no idea why you replied to my initial message. You can save your lesson for someone who isn't an Air Force pilot and doesn't already know all about Electronic Counter Measures (ie. chaff), and read the video description, noting keywords "Jam" and "chemtrails" which I was commenting on.
