The video was stored in my basement - its the only documentation i have of the project - the basement got flooded and video got moldy - tried to make something out of what was left. Cheers :)

How did you make the leg mechanism?

An electric can opener for the motor attached to some aluminum stock

Yes, but they move in regular patterns which means you must of had a mechanism ? No?

The can opener is a slow rpm motor. A piece of aluminum was attached another piece of aluminum was attached to that. One goes round and round, the other slides back and forth between two bolts (like a train piston). The back and forth one moved the leg forwards and back. You can see the two bolts fall off towards the end - which is the end of the back and forth movement.

I can't stop thinking about this sad creature trying to make it home after a hard night of drinking. Poor, poor Edward Wheeliehands. He's just trying to do the best he can with what he was given.

I love how the video starts to break up when the mechanism starts to break apart.
