@catherinetodd, con't: If MakerBot could use recycled plastic, it would really be a boon as it would help clean up the trash around Lake Atitlan too! Hope you have that in the works...

@radius226, Thanks for your reply. When I get an extra $1,000 I'm going to get one for the Guatemalan people down here at Lake Atitlan where I live part-time. They have had a terrible time with volcanos, hurricanes, landslides, floods and whole entire houses with everything in it washing away. They've been left with nothing, but having a little something that they could make themselves might be something that would cheer them up and eventually help them earn some money too.

@glennlopez it's been a while, but I don't recall using any glue. It's all held together with nuts and bolts. As for the soldering, it wasn't anything special (again, I don't exactly remember, but just plain old solder is fine).
