www.ProGuitarShop.com - Option 5 Destination Overdrive II - Building off of the foundations of the original Destination Overdrive sensation, The Destination Overdrive II contains the same wonderful, harmonically pleasing tones as the original.

The DOII has improved features based on customer suggestions:

• Improved bass response.
• Improved gain control with more range.
• Standard 9 volt wallwart operation.
• True Bypass

This has to be, by far, the best damn tube preamp sounding, solid state overdrive pedal ever created. Smooth, tight and responsive are words that come to mind. This is not another "Screamer" clone. This pedal will basically add another channel to your amp with all the features such as a classic tone 'stack' configuration for shaping your sound. It is able to sound like a barely broken up blues tone or with the twist of a few knobs, it will rip your head off with searing, scooped mids heavy metal. This is one pedal that has a range that is actually usable, throughout. I have designed it that way. The bass is never farty. Performing a 'dive bomb' will not make it choke. Roll your volume knob back on your guitar and actually reduce your gain. Picking dynamics and note separation are unbelievable. And, oh yeah, it's low noise too!

  • @jkretch72

yeah he just fixed my half stack. everyone who works there is super nice and accommodating.

  • I just found out today at Guitar Center that these babies are made right here in my home town, Mishawaka, IN, by a guy named Jay Woods. I didn't realize I had this talent living in my own back yard. 2 thumbs up! Oh, and great playing as usual, Andy!

  • Andy, what's the song at the beginning of the demo?

  • that pedal is juice

  • i like the sound alot, you made me buy this beauty

  • Amazing pedal, holy crap

  • Cool! I have an old version of this pedal. It is a 24 volt version with a "growl" knob. It used to belong to one of the guys from Collective Soul. There is definitely a little bit of a difference between the two versions, both sound equally cool though! Great review as always.

  • Hmm, would love to hear its scooped metal sound with humbuckers.

  • sounds sweet
